Anoint It, Break It, Erase It
"As long as they remained, the demons had the legal right to stay." — Reflect on Deuteronomy 7:5
The Procedure
When you find an occult marking near your home or property, the response is straightforward. Four steps, in order.
First, anoint the drawing with oil in the name of Jesus Christ. Smear it directly over the marking.
Second, speaking aloud, take authority over every spirit placed on that drawing and command them to leave at once in the name of Jesus Christ.
Third, break the curse. Command every curse sent through that marking against you, your household, and your property to be broken now in the name of Jesus.
Fourth — and this is the step people skip — destroy the drawing.
Cover it completely with paint, matched as closely as possible to the surface. Better still, have it sandblasted or physically removed if that is possible.
Why the Fourth Step Is Not Optional
This is the principle that runs through this entire study.
As long as the drawing remains, those spirits retain a legal right to stay.
The drawing is the legal instrument. Praying over it while leaving it intact is like getting a court order and never filing it. You have done everything except the one thing that removes the standing.
This is exactly why God commanded Israel to physically destroy altars, break pillars, cut down images, and burn carved gods with fire (Deuteronomy 7:5). He never once told them to pray over them and leave them standing.
The Woman After Halloween
Ten days after Halloween, at a seminar where slides of occult symbols were being shown, a woman spoke up during the question session.
Her entire household had been engulfed in chaos over the previous days. Terrible strife among family members. Everyone sick at once. Several strange accidents.
As the teaching went on, she realized why.
Leaving for work the morning after Halloween, she had noticed that someone had painted a large symbol on her front door during the night — the encircled letter marking a blood sacrifice.
Now she understood that a powerful curse of destruction had been laid on her house and family.
She went home that night and destroyed the symbol on her door. As she did, she prayed and commanded every curse placed on her home and family to be broken at once in the name of Jesus, and commanded every associated spirit to leave.
Then she went through the house, anointing and cleansing it, and anointed every person in it, breaking the curses off each one individually.
The next day she reported that peace had returned to her home immediately.
Point to Ponder
Praying over a marking while leaving it in place is a court order you never filed.

Is there something I have prayed about repeatedly but never physically removed?
Today's Practice
If you found anything during the previous lesson's practice, deal with it today. Do not postpone it.
Take oil. Go to the marking. Anoint it, take authority aloud, break the curse, and then erase it completely.
Then do what she did: go through your house room by room, anointing as you go, and then anoint each member of your family individually, breaking any curse off each one by name.
"In the name of Jesus Christ, I break every curse sent against this house and against ______, and I command every spirit associated with it to leave now and never return."
And note the wider application: anything you have prayed about but never physically removed — an object, a document, an image, a subscription, a relationship — is still standing. Remove it today.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I have prayed about things I never actually removed, and I have wondered why nothing changed.
Show me everything still standing in my life that I have only prayed about — objects, images, agreements, arrangements — and give me the resolve to physically deal with them today.
In Your name I take authority over every curse sent against my home, my family, my property, and my work. I command every one of them broken now. I command every spirit placed anywhere near my household to leave immediately and never return.
I anoint my home and everyone in it. Cover us with Your blood. Let peace return to this house.
In Your name, Lord Jesus. Amen.
Anoint, take authority, break the curse — and then erase it. All four, or none of it holds.
